The extension does not require an account and does not send your product data to FiberScore servers. When you use the extension, the following may be processed on your device and stored locally in your browser:

• Product page information: On pages you visit, the extension reads publicly shown product information (for example product name, fiber composition, certifications, image URLs, and retailer) to calculate a FiberScore.
• Page URLs: The URL of the product page you are viewing, used to score that product and associate any edits you save.
• Your edits: Changes you make to fiber or certification data, saved per product URL in your browser.
• Recent scores: Scorecards you save in the extension (product label, fiber breakdown, scores, certifications, product page URL, and product image URL when available).
• Extension settings: Preferences such as auto-score on/off, stored locally in your browser.
• Email you send us: If you contact us by email, we receive whatever you include in that message. The extension does not include a contact form and does not collect your email address unless you send it to us.

How We Use Your Information

• Calculate and display FiberScores on product pages
• Remember your recent score history and data edits on your device

Data Storage and Security

Extension data is stored locally in your browser up to a maximum of 20 scorecards and remains on your device unless you clear it, clear extension storage in your browser settings, or uninstall the extension.

Network Requests

The extension may read product information from retail websites you visit in order to calculate scores. On some retailer sites (for example wearpact.com), the extension may send product identifiers from the current page URL to that retailer's public product API to retrieve product information. Those requests are limited to scoring that page. The extension does not transmit your local score history or popup data to third parties.
