FiberScore is a free Chrome extension. It reads publicly shown product information (such as fiber composition and certifications) and displays scores to help you compare clothing. FiberScore LLC is listed as a trader on the Chrome Web Store for this extension. Google’s terms also apply to installation and updates.

• The extension is free. No payment is collected. There is no account.
• You may stop using it at any time by uninstalling it in your browser.
• Publisher name, address, phone, and email are on the Chrome Web Store listing and on the Legal Notice.

This website

This site explains the product, hosts the privacy policy linked from the Chrome Web Store, and provides contact details. It is not a paid catalog or checkout.

Scores are opinions, not safety guarantees

FiberScore scores and related descriptions reflect the judgment of a materials scientist and engineer applied to publicly available information. They are a decision aid, not a determination that any product is safe, unsafe, healthy, or unhealthy for you or for workers.

• Scores are not medical advice, toxicology reports, laboratory testing, or product certifications.
• They do not replace brand disclosures, official certifications, or your own judgment about fit, allergies, or personal needs.
• Information on retailer pages can be incomplete, outdated, or incorrectly parsed. Verify important details with the brand before you buy.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Misuse the extension or website, attempt to disrupt them, or access them by unauthorized means
• Present FiberScore scores as official product testing, a government rating, or a certification you or we have issued for a brand
• Use the extension or website in a way that violates applicable law

Intellectual property

FiberScore names, scoring methodology, site content, and extension software are owned by FiberScore LLC or its licensors. You may use them for personal, non-commercial shopping research. You may not copy, resell, or scrape them to build a competing product without permission. Product names, images, and brand materials shown through the extension belong to their respective owners.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, excluding conflict-of-law rules, except where the Chrome Web Store listing or mandatory law requires otherwise for the extension.
