The Services

FiberScore shows what clothing is made of, using the fiber content brands publish on their public product pages.

• Website and catalog: Browse products and their fiber content, filter and sort by fiber, open retailer links, and use informational pages (for example the Fiber Guide).
• Favorites: Save products to a list kept in your browser, or, if you sign in, to your account so it syncs across your devices.
• Accounts (optional and free): Sign in with email (password or magic link) to sync favorites. Everything else works without an account.

Accounts

You can browse and save favorites in your browser without an account. An account is free and is only needed to sync favorites across devices. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your sign-in details secure, and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account.

You may save a limited number of favorites (currently 1,000). Limits may change. Favorites saved only in your browser are lost if you clear your browser's site data, and we cannot recover them.

You may delete your account at any time while signed in using Delete Account. Deletion removes your account and the favorites synced to it, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Fiber Information

Fiber content on FiberScore comes from what brands publish on their product pages. FiberScore does not test products. Fiber descriptions are general information about each fiber, not about any one product.

• Fiber information on FiberScore is not medical advice, laboratory testing, or a product certification.
• It does not replace the brand’s own product information or your own judgment about fit, allergies, or personal needs.
• Catalog and collected data can be incomplete, outdated, or incorrectly parsed. Verify important details with the brand before you buy.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Misuse FiberScore, attempt to disrupt it, or access it by unauthorized means
• Share account credentials or sell access to FiberScore
• Scrape, bulk-export, or systematically copy the catalog, fiber data, or site content to build a competing product without permission
• Present information from FiberScore as official product testing, a government rating, or a certification issued by us or a brand
• Use FiberScore in a way that violates applicable law

Intellectual Property

FiberScore names, site content (including fiber descriptions), catalog presentation, and software are owned by FiberScore LLC or its licensors. You may use them for personal, non-commercial shopping research under these Terms. You may not copy, resell, or scrape them to build a competing product without permission.

Brand Content, Sources, and Removal Requests

Catalog listings are compiled from information brands publish on their public product pages, such as product names, fiber content, prices, and links. Product names, images, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are shown only to identify products and link to where they are sold. Product photos load directly from the brands' own websites; FiberScore does not host copies of them. Showing a brand or product does not mean the brand endorses FiberScore or that FiberScore endorses it.

If you own content shown on FiberScore, or represent a brand, and want a listing corrected or removed, contact us through the contact form or at fiberscore@gmail.com with the product page and what you would like changed. We review requests promptly and correct or remove content where appropriate.

Privacy

How we process personal data (including account data) is described in the Privacy Policy.

Availability and Changes

FiberScore is an evolving product. Features, catalog coverage, and limits may change. We may interrupt or discontinue parts of the service. We may update these Terms by posting a new version with a revised date. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

Liability

FiberScore is free and is provided "as is" and "as available". We use reasonable care, but to the extent permitted by law we make no warranties, express or implied, and we do not warrant that fiber content, catalog data, or collected product information are complete, current, or error-free.

To the extent permitted by law, FiberScore LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from your use of FiberScore or reliance on its information, including purchasing decisions. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to FiberScore is limited to the greater of US$100 or the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, excluding conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer or data-protection law requires otherwise.
